Minutes of The Village of Hunter Special Meeting held
Monday, April 18, 2022

Call to Order: 6:15PM. Pledge of Allegiance

Members Present: Mayor Alan Higgins, Trustee Benjamin Sommers and Trustee Michael Papa

Also Present: Clerk Kathleen Hilbert

The purpose of this Special Meeting was to adopt Local Law No. 1 of 2022 which will be known as the Tax Levy Limit Override Law. Motion was made by Mayor Higgins, seconded by Trustee Papa to adopt Local Law No. 1 of 2022

The foregoing was put to a vote and was carried.

Mayor Alan Higgins voting – yea
Trustee Benjamin Sommers voting – yea
Trustee Michael Papa voting – yea

Local Law No. 1 of 2022 was thereupon declared duly adopted on April 18, 2022.

Other Business:

Clerk Hilbert reminded the Board of the:

April 22nd deadline to submit any planned projects for which Greene County could provide assistance through their ARPA funding. A discussion ensued.

April 1st deadline for the Annual Report of Code Enforcement Activities for The Village.

Greene County assistance to minimize costs incurred under local unsafe building laws authorizing demolition and procedures. A discussion ensued.

Mayor instructed Board to review e-mails regarding above items.

Mayor will pick up Schmidt plaque tomorrow and install on memorial bench.

Mayor stated all Planning Board members’ terms have expired.

Adjournment: Motion to adjourn the meeting made by Mayor Higgins; seconded by Trustee Papa. Meeting was adjourned.
