The Village of Hunter wastewater treatment plant is a 0.325 million gallon a day activated sludge facility with filtration and disinfection. Averageing 0.148 MGD, serving approximately 1000 residentail and commercial connections. We monitor the plant and sewer collection system continuously to ensure all SPDES permit parameters are maintained. Along with daily testing and process control, the plant operators maintain preventative maintenance programs for pumps, equipment, and collection systems to ensure there are no plant upsets. This maintenance provides a quality final effluent.
