The Village issued the Boil Water Notice as a precaution following the recent heavy rainfall, which caused increased turbidity (cloudiness) in the source water.
At this time, no drinking water standards or regulatory limits have been exceeded. However, out of an abundance of caution, the Village is conducting additional monitoring and water quality testing to ensure the continued safety of the public water supply.
The Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until testing confirms the water is safe. Once the notice is lifted, residents will be notified through the Village website.
