Trustee Higgins opened the Public Hearing.

LOCAL LAW NO. 2 OF 2017

A LOCAL LAW amending Local Law No. 2 of the year 2004 “Exemption from Real Property Taxes of Property Owned by Persons with Disabilities and Limited Incomes.”

BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Trustees of The Village of Hunter, as follows:

SECTION 1. The purpose of this Local Law is to amend Local Law No. 2 of the year 2004 by increasing the maximum income limit amount to $26,500.00 for a fifty-percent (50%) exemption.

In addition, the “Sliding Scale” previously adopted is hereby revoked.

SECTION 2. This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon its filing with the Secretary of State.

Trustee Higgins – The maximum income limit was previously $16,000. Are there any questions or comments? Rob Corson – No, it’s very clear.

Motion to adjourn made by Trustee Tancredi; seconded by Trustee Higgins.
