Discarded natural Christmas trees, provided they have been stripped of all decoration, will be collected by the Village of Hunter Department of Public Works throughout the month of January, 2024.
Village residents may leave their unwanted trees near where they leave trash for pickup.
All decoration, lights, tinsel, etc., must be completely removed, or the tree will not be picked up. Artificial trees will not be accepted.
Collected trees will be stockpiled by the DPW and then chipped.
